About us

A riff on the Germanic word, “wunderkind”, which loosely translates to “wonder kid”.

We believe that every child is born a wunderkind, but our job as parents is to equip them with the skills required to thrive in a changing world.

I have always looked for ways to inculcate real-world thinking skills in my 5-year old, sans screens and lectures! Since my partner and I both work full-time, it was important to us that family time had to be both fun and edifying. It didn't feel right that we had to choose.

After a decade in venture capital, I left to build the kind of games I wish existed for my daughter — learning wrapped within layers of fun! Every game we launch is playtested with families, to ensure we get the experience right for all ages.

At Voonderkinz, we strive to preserve and enrich parent-child interactions through collaborative, engaging, and screen-free play.
